Thoroughly enjoyed Durango, the hotel was nice little and great close to downtown. Booked a room with single bed. Tea and coffee making equipment, and a fridge were a big plus. The location was favourable, short walk from Animas Mountain Trailhead.

The motel staff were very accommodating and helpful.
Our room had a refrigerator that was so loud, it woke us up multiple times at night. The lounge chair was old and uncomfortable. It seemed like it hadn't been updated in decades. The furnace wasn't functional, and we were given a space heater instead, untrustworthy during cold nights.

It was just a prime choice for a swift visit in Durango with best value. I found the staff very friendly and helpful when I asked for some extra towels. Consider adjusting your arrival time to avoid the strict 5pm check-in policy.

Unexpected charm in the details
The bed was just right, and I loved that they had sustainable features throughout the hotel. The ice machine was a refreshing perk too!
The refrigerator in my room was quite noisy, disrupting my sleep a few times which was disappointing. The lounge chair felt outdated and uncomfortable.

We recently stayed in a Queen Room with Garden View, and the comfy bed made our one-night stopover enjoyable. The room was freshly remodeled with nice decor and great water pressure. the outdoor gazebo was unexpectedly locked, which limited our relaxation options.

Staying in the King Room with Garden View was pretty nice! The bed was comfy and the shower had amazing water pressure. Super clean too, and I liked the new furniture. The vibe has the potential to be really cute. But, it felt a little basic overall, like it could use some extra touches. If it had a bit more charm, it would be perfect!

The decor felt vintage and cozy. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. The room was super clean, and I appreciated the cleanliness throughout. The owners were hands-on and provided helpful recommendations for exploring Durango. They even gave me a cute courtyard to unwind in. The parking was a tight squeeze. I had to go out the entrance due to the cramped space when navigating with my vehicle. Although I liked the idea of having a kitchenette in the room, I didn't get a chance to use it. It looked well-equipped but I had other dining plans. While the overall stay was good, the noise from a loud refrigerator disturbed my sleep a couple of times. It may need an upgrade. I appreciated the sustainable features throughout, like the glass coffee containers and no single-use items. This place could definitely shine with a few more updates to the furniture and better soundproofing.
